The Palo Alto Family YMCA helps enrich life experience with seminars, classes and retreats. We hold regular Mindfulness Meditation Programs every year.Try classes like Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi and QiGong or make room in your schedule for a healing massage from one of our certified massage therapists. Be sure to remember the Women's Yoga Retreat for one weekend every year. Each month we host noteworthy speakers who talk about issues related to health and well being. The numerous therapeutic benefits of massage can be a key ingredient to your overall well-being. For 30 min, 45 min, 60 min or 90 min you can relax under the care of one of our Certified Massage Therapists. We offer many kinds of massage including Swedish, Chair, pressure point and more.

->Nutrition Counseling

Nutrition Counseling will help you to meet your personal goal, whether it is to lose a few extra pounds, train for an endurance event or improve your overall health. Nutrition therapy is an effective way to lower blood pressure and blood cholesterol as well as reduce your risk of developing chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, osteoporosis and Alzheimers disease.

The Feldenkrais Method is for anyone who wants to reconnect with their natural abilities to move, think and feel. Whether you want to be more comfortable sitting at your computer, playing with your children and grandchildren, or performing a favorite pastime, these gentle lessons can improve your overall well being. Learning to move with less effort makes daily life easier. Increase ease and range of motion, improve flexibility (without stretching!) and coordination, and rediscover innate capacity for easy, efficient movement.
